Meet Mr. Clark.
Clark is an expert trainer in English Communication.
Clark’s new course “Corporate Email Etiquette” is all set for launch, but his course content files are not organized yet.
“What a nightmare! My files are scattered across Google Drive, Gmail, public website and my laptop”, rues Clark.
“Hold On! Doesn’t WizIQ provide a content library to assemble and store files from different sources?”, he ponders.
To find out, he logs into his WizIQ Academy and lands on the homepage.
On this page, he clicks on the “Options” button at the top-left to open the side menu.
In the menu, he clicks on “Library” and lands on his “Content Library” page.
Clark needs to create a folder to save the files related to this course.
He clicks on the Plus button at the bottom-right and further on “Create a New Folder” button.
A pop-up appears, in which Clark enters the name of his course folder as “Corporate Email Etiquette Files” and hits the “Create” button.
Excellent! The folder shows up in the library now.
Clark clicks on the folder to open it.
To add the first file, he clicks on the Plus button at the bottom-right again, and then, he clicks the “Upload File” button.
A window pops up, on which the left panel shows several options such as My Device, Link (URL), Gmail, Dropbox and so on.
To copy files from his laptop, Clark clicks on “Select Files to Upload”, browses to the file location and uploads the “The Perfect Email” document.
On clicking the “Upload” button, the pop-up window closes, and the file is now added to the folder.
Dr. Lance Corona has an excellent article on “Corporate Email Etiquette” available on a website.
Clark clicks on “Upload File” and then on “Link” option in the side panel.
Here, he enters the URL to the pdf file by Dr. Corona and clicks on the “Link” button.
Further, he clicks upload, and the file is added to his folder.
Next, he clicks on “Upload File” again to copy the course file from Gmail which is saved as email attachments right now.
He clicks on “Gmail” option in the side panel and then on “Connect Gmail” button to authenticate his Gmail account.
Once complete, he sees all the file attachments in a list of folders with the subject line of the email assigned as folder names.
He opens the “Email Course Files” folder and selects “Email Ninja” presentation file.
He clicks on “Upload” button to add the file to his folder in the Content Library.
Next, Clark wants to add a video file from his emailing workshop conducted last month.
This file is saved to his Google Drive account.
Therefore, he opens the “Upload File” window and selects “Google Drive” option.
He authenticates his Google Drive account.
There! He sees his drive files, with the folder “Corporate Emailing Workshop” in it.
He opens the folder and selects a video file on email structure and content.
Done. Clark hits upload to add this file to his folder on WizIQ.
“Oh no! I believe I copied the wrong video file from Google Drive”, checks Clark.
To find the uploaded video file, Clark clicks on “Filter” and checks “Video” option and then clicks “Apply”.
When there are multiple files in a folder, filtering helps to view and find the required files easily.
He deletes the video file by selecting the checkbox beside the filename and hitting delete.
Clark goes back to Google Drive to copy the right file and adds it to his folder.
Fantastic! All his required files are now centrally saved in WizIQ Content Library.
He is ready to use them in his course.
