Obedience to the Law of Christ
R.A. Veen

Detailed examination of the arguments for a continued effort to include Torah-ethics into Christian ethics.

The End of the Law?
R.A. Veen

An analysis of Paul's letters to the Galatians and Romans shows that even to him, the Mosaic Law is an essential part of the social ethics of early Christianity. A sequel to Fulfillment of the Law.

Fulfillment of the Law
R.A. Veen

A new look at the New Testament writings may provide us with a better understanding of the positive role of the Law of Moses in early Christian ethics. If Jesus understood obedience to the Torah as part of His mission, it should be important to Christians today to acquire a taste for careful ethical discourse along the lines of Jewish "legal" thought. This book tries to show by an in-depth analysis of the gospels of Mark and Matthew and the letter of James that early Christianity did in fact accept the continuing authority of the Torah for Christian life.

Justification and the Law
R.A. Veen

The third and final book in a series on the meaning of the Torah for Christian ethics. In this book Dr. Robbert Veen explores the reasons behind the rejection of the role of the Torah in dogma history. The doctrine of justification by faith in its Protestant and later in its evangelical shape contributed to the downfall of the Torah in Protestant ethics. In the Mennonite version of the doctrine, things look a little better. The other two books in the series are: Fulfillment of the Law and The End of the Law?

Zwaard en Kruis
R.A. Veen

R.A. Veen

R.A. Veen

R.A. Veen

To Read Hegel - part 1
Robbert Veen
