Profile Summary
My name is Adi Wira - a Bachelor of Islamic Sciences in Da’wah and Usuluddin from al-Madinah International University (MEDIU), Malaysia. I was also a student in Ma’had Ali bin Abi Thalib Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta University. I am a teacher of Arabic from Yogyakarta, Indonesia; I hold classes both online and in person. I speak Indonesian, Arabic and English. Arabic Language is my passion because Arabic is the language of Quran and it is very beautiful and hence a desire to teach it.
I have experience and expertise of teaching various age levels and nationalities. I have my own style of teaching. As a Language teacher, I believe that teaching, is meeting the intellectual needs of the students and all students vary. In my experience of Arabic teaching I have seen students vary in their grasp of vocabulary or syntax or grammar or in speaking. It is important to know the strength of the student in order to provide support and encouragement where required and to plan the lesson and tasks accordingly so it is more benefiting and interesting for the students. Also a language is just not grammar or morphology etc. It is package, a language needs to be expressed in speech, in writing; it is be listened to and read, and understood in depth as each language carries a culture which also needs to addressed. So my classes are a subtle combination of all mentioned, and I use various online tools for the lessons to be effective inshaa Allah.
I am currently also working as Indonesia Representative of Islamic Online University (IOU). Who want to learn Islam intensively or want to get Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Islamic Studies can join us inshaa Allah. IOU is the world’s first tuition-free Islamic Online University. http://www.islamiconlineuniversity.com/
