Live Chat WizIQ Virtual Classroom provides a hassle-free two-way, real-time communication between the learner and teacher through live chat. Similar to face-to-face conversation in the traditional, physical classroom, chat occurs between the teacher and learner in real-time with immediate replies. A teacher can have private text chat with a student or with multiple students simultaneously.

It’s a pretty flexible chat box – you can resize box to read the text after a long chat, modify text size and send private messages in any session through the same text box but by specifying an attendee or classmate.

Teach in your language Learning best happens when it’s done in the language learners’ best understand. We support almost all the languages of the world. Whiteboard Tools

The Whiteboard consumes the largest portion of screen real estate. You can project slides, play PowerPoint presentations or share document files on the whiteboard by uploading them from the content library or your computer, play videos by selecting from the media library or pasting YouTube URL directly or write on the whiteboard using multiple tools – text tool, math tool, shape tool, etc.

Your whiteboard is a “virtual” flip chart where attendees can brainstorm ideas – you can give them the writing control. Instead of tearing off a full sheet, in the virtual classroom you save it (for reference later) and start with another blank whiteboard – can have multiple whiteboards in the virtual classroom.

Multilingual text tools You thought English was the only language you could teach in online – not any more. Through WizIQ’s multilingual text box you can not only teach any language but also choose your language of instruction. Whether it’s French, Spanish, or the right to left languages like Arabic, Urdu, Hebrew, etc., you can teach, write almost any language on the whiteboard.

Pointer You can discuss the necessary points via mouse.

Flip image When you need the object in the photo looking in the other direction or you need the top of the image to be the bottom, you can do it easily on the white board. You can flip the image on vertical axis. It’s a great way to show mirror image in a Physics class.

Share Anything

Share Adobe PDF documents, Excel Sheet, PowerPoint and Word Document for easy and more secure communication, collaboration, and timesaving electronic workflows.

Document Sharing You can share documents in any format - video/audio files, PDFs, Word documents, Excel sheet, SWF files and PowerPoint presentations with the attendees in the Virtual Classroom. You can directly pick them from your WizIQ content repository (you will have to upload them before the class) or upload them from their current location.

Engage learners by demonstrating live usage of software/application in real time

Desktop Sharing You can share your on-screen activity in real-time with all the participants in the Virtual Classroom by sharing your desktop.

Java Runtime environment (JRE 1.5 or above) needs to be installed (only) at presenters' end to share their screens. It’s a simple-click start and stop function. The attendees can see you working on the documents, using an application/software or browsing the Internet. Anything you do goes live in the Virtual Classroom and gets captured in the class recording too! Attendees can also share screens in the class if writing control is transferred to them.

Deliver high-quality, on-demand presentations and video without special training.

Media Sharing You can watch videos in the Windows Media Player right in your classroom. You can play any video or audio file by simply clicking on the file name - all the media files that you upload in the content library get listed in the media player. Even better, you can directly paste the URL to play - YouTube videos are directly playable by YouTube URL. You can also minimize media player while the media file is playing for background sound.

Combine a wide range of content – including documents, drawings, e-mail, and spread sheets – in a single portfolio to share with your learners.

Content Library Using WizIQ’s content feature you can save these files in the content repository and share them with your attendees in the Virtual Classroom. You can upload up to 20 MB files for doc-docx, pdf, xls-xlsx, ppt-pptx-pps-ppsx, swf-flv and 50 MB for mov-avi-mpeg-wmv and wav-wma-mp3. Also embed videos from YouTube, presentations from authorSTREAM and documents from SlideShare to play in the Virtual Classroom. By uploading content you create your personal repository of content on WizIQ. You can use this content in your virtual classroom; share it with your students, contacts and world.
