I enjoy my job as EFL teacher very much and as founder of a language centre, I am able to use all the skills, knowledge and experience I have accumulated in more than a decade of teaching, training and management.
I believe that with computer technology, my teaching background, and my postgraduate degree, I can bring to the students, lessons that are dynamic, relevant and interesting.
General English lessons offered focus on fluency at the early stages (beginner’s to pre-intermediate levels) and moves on to accuracy in the latter stages (intermediate to advanced levels). In all levels the four English skills, listening, reading, writing and speaking are applied and covered through exposure, interaction and communication. Pronunciation, using the IPA as guide, and grammar lessons focusing on form are threaded throughout the lessons to further promote language awareness.
In addition, review preparation for international English exams focuses on the application of the English skills for academic purposes. Learners are made aware of the academic skills of note-taking, paraphrasing, summarizing and synthesizing to help them obtain the score they need in IELTS, TOEIC or TOEFL.
