Development of GSM Based Wireless Communication System for the Remote Monitoring of process industri
ENACT-2010(conference) Paper Presentation.

This project deals about the design & development of GSM based wireless data acquisition system for the remote monitoring of the process parameters in a sugar industry. The proposed system uses a microcontroller with ADC (called as Mixed Signal Processor) for interfacing the input devices and the GSM module. The parameters like the raw material input, production output and the process related parameters are sensed by the sensor and then conditioned by the signal conditioning circuitry. The conditioned signal is then digitized by the A/D converter and the digitized o/p goes to the microcontroller. At a regular interval of time, the information are transmitted to the centralized monitoring point via the GSM modem. With the help of this technology, we can easily communicate to the rural areas even in the case of natural disaster and real time information of each and every process can be monitored by the head quarters in very reliable and cost effective way.
