WHAT ARE SIMILES : WHAT ARE SIMILES Similes are comparisons between two different kinds of things that have one point in common.

Slide 4 : Let me make it easy for you, children. Let me give you a few examples. We can say jenny is very big, but it would be better understood if we said jenny is as huge as an elephant. Got it?
