It is the cycle for the return of nitrogen in the earth.In this,atmospheric N2 get fixed by free-living and symbiotic microbes in the soil in th form of ammonia.Then by nitrosomonas the ammonia get converted into nitrite and then to nitrate by nitrobacter.By denitrification ,this nitrate will again turn into atm.N2 and the cycle continues.
