Results:Based on Table 1 the different Pipetman had a more accurate and precise measurement than the serological pipette. The L-10 Pipetman was not able to give us meaningful data because the weighing scale did not have enough digits to read the weight. The L-100 and L-1000 Pipetman readings were accurate and precise. The serological pipette were inaccurate by several decimal places.Petri dish A and B where kept under the cell culture hood but dish A was left open. Neither of the Petri dishes showed any signs of bacteria growth after three days in the incubator (compare Figs 1 and 2). Both petri dishes C and D where kept on the benchtop for 10 minutes but dish C was kept open. Petri dish C had colonies of bacteria growing in the petri dish where as dish D had no bacteria colonies after three days in the incubator (compare Figs. 3 and 4). Petri dishes E and F were kept under the fume hood for 10 minutes but dish E was kept open. After three days in the incubator, petri dish E had colonies of bacteria growing which was cloudy overall where as dish F had no signs of bacteria (compare Figs. 5 and 6). Petri dishes G was touched with a dirty finger where as dish H was touched with a clean finger. Both dishes had growth of bacteria which seemed cloudy and clustered together (compare Figs. 7 and 8). Petri dishes I and J were the controls.
