STRENGTH AND FEASIBILITY OF PROJECT DESIGN COST EFFECTIVENESS OF PROPOSED BUDGET 5 EXCELLENT Excellent evidence that project will have positive impact on secondary education in target country, including examples of previous successful interventions Statement of need is clearly articulated and demonstrates thoughtful research and immersion in a specific aspect of secondary education Project goals and objectives are clearly articulated and logically related to each other and to the statement of need Statement of need, goals, and objectives have a solid connection to secondary education Strong evidence that applicant is committed to improving the quality of secondary education Excellent evidence that project is uniquely tailored to beneficiaries’ needs, including detailed description of primary beneficiaries as a distinctive and unique target group worthy of special intervention Demonstrated significant understanding of project’s potential impact on beneficiaries, including explanation of how benefits will be transferred from primary to secondary beneficiaries Project activities are clearly articulated and directly related to project goal Project activities are achievable within given timeline Workshop agendas are compelling and thorough Excellent demonstration of commitment to sustainability of project including long-term maintenance plans M&E plan includes multiple means of assessment Collaborator’s role is clearly defined, is essential to the project, and includes high-value contribution (either in-kind donations or relevant expertise) Cost share is more than 15% of total budget All line items are logically related to project activities and clear to reader Budget notes are extremely detailed and clear 4 GOOD Good evidence that project will have
