IELTS EXAM SKILLS Aims • To prepare candidates for the IELTS test • To practise the 4 skills of listening, reading, writing and speaking • To practise exam papers that will be marked and graded • To learn and improve test strategies and techniques • To improve, develop and extend academic English ability Content To be successful in the IELTS test it is important to cover five main areas: • Understand how the test is structured and what the test objectives are • Complete practice tests and receive feedback • Improve listening, reading, writing and speaking skills • Improve grammar, vocabulary and spelling • Gain knowledge of ideas related to content of test METHODOLOGY The classes will prepare students through a close examination of what the test demands. Practice tests, test tasks and course book will also be used to provide practice and feedback in order to help students improve their skills and knowledge.
