Hebrew uses a “marker” word to indicate all definite direct objects of verbs. It is NOT used for nondefiinit direct objects, it is NOT used for indirect objects and it is NOT used for objects of prepositions. The marker word is ¤ ` z , sometimes using the vowel tsadai ¥` z , sometimes using the vowel segol ¤ ` z . The marker word acts very much like a preposition, it is ALWAYS used immediately before a definite direct object of a verb. It is NEVER used with nondefiinit direct objects, it is NEVER used with objects of other prepositions. The marker word is used as the basis for forming the definite direct object pronouns (like “me”, “her”, “him” in English) by adding the specific pronoun suffixes. The same suffixes that are used to form the possessive pronouns. Many of the forms use an added F in the spelling.Pink for feminine, Black for nongennde specific Blue for masculine .p Feminine .f Masculine i ¦ YF` <¦p£` § Y£`
