Slide 2 : Dan had sat in the car waiting around for several hours outside the warehouse. His cell phone had rung loudly several times, but he had not answered the calls. It had been the police and not the kidnapper. He could sense the DANGER he was in. Finally, Dan had found the courage to enter the warehouse. It had been dark, and he had heard no sounds since coming in. The ground had been cold and wet. He had JUMPED when he saw a mouse running about under his feet. Dan had walked down a long, dark hall without windows. He had held tightly to the bag full of money he was CARRYING. He had walked into a dark room. Dan had jumped when the bats flew around his head too. He had wanted to shout and run out of there as fast as he could. Then he had seen his wife lying on the ground. He had run over to her quickly. He had knelt down and had tried to pick her up. Her mouth had moved slowly when he TOUCHED her, but no sound had come out. Suddenly his head had exploded with pain. Dan had started to BLACK OUT as he slid to the ground and DROPPED the bag of ransom money. The last thing he had seen was the outline of a masked man standing over him with a STEEL pipe in his hand. Dan had woken up a while later. He hadn’t been able to move, and his head had pounded with pain. Then he had realized that he had been tied to a CHAIR. And that was when he had heard footsteps coming down the hall in his direction.
