Description
Animal cell store energy in the form of ion gardient across the cell membrane.For the flow of ions an ion pump is present between the cytosol and extracellular space.The amount of K+ ion is higher in cytosol while Na+ ion is higher in extracellular space.For every three Na+ ion,two K+ ion come inside the cytosol.This cycle takes 10 min to happen.
