The approved eligibility criteria relating to induction on deputation in the ranks of Addl. SP, Dy.SP, Inspector and Sub-Inspector are given National Investigation Agency (NIA) below: 01. Addl. Supdt. of Police: (a)Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/dept. or(b)With five years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in PB-3; Rs.15600-39100 plus Grade Pay Rs.5400 or equivalent in the parent cadre/deptt. 02. Dy. Supdt. of Police: (a)Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/deptt; or (b)With three years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in National Investigation Agency (NIA) in the Scale of Pay of Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs.4600 or equivalent in the present cadre/deptt. 03. Inspector: (a)Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/deptt: or (b) with five years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the Scale of Pay of Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200 or equivalent in the parent cadre/deptt; 04. Sub-Inspector: (a) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in National Investigation Agency (NIA) the parent cadre/department; or (b) with five years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in National Investigation Agency (NIA) posts in the scale of pay of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs. 2800 or equivalent in the parent cadre/deptt.; The deputation tenure shall be governed by the standard terms of deputation of the Government of India.
