Slide 2 : Dan had realized that he needed to do something fast. The kidnapper had given him about 24 hours to COME UP WITH one hundred thousand dollars. So, he had called up a few of his friends to help him out with that AMOUNT.   He had called several good friends like Joe and Aaron. But none of them could help him out. He had also called his friend Joyce. She had said she was in the Bahamas, but had saved a little extra money she could spare.   After she had transferred the money to his ACCOUNT, he had enough money to SAVE his family. He had had a lot of doubts about this, but he had known that his family’s life DEPENDED on him.   When Dan had headed south, he didn’t tell the cops where he was going. He had been afraid that they would get in the way. They didn’t even know that he had come up with the cash to pay the ransom.   Dan had put the money in his beat-up, old chevy, and had driven off early. Hours later he had finally arrived at the bottom of the mountain and driven around for a bit. He had just pulled into a gas station when he received another call on his cell.   The KIDNAPPER had told him to turn down ROUTE 65 and drive for five miles. When he had come to an abandoned old WAREHOUSE he was supposed to wait outside in the car.
