Slide 2 : What does means for You? Internal communication deals with the exchange of information creating understanding and behaviors within an organization.

Slide 3 : AIESEC perspective of ICOMM Internal communication is how members, LCs and MC communicate between each other to support the external positioning and to correct the brand management.

Slide 6 : MyAIESEC.net Channel AI NEWSLETTER Every week we send information about most important things happening within our organization. GROUPS There are groups for different functions in the organization. This is our main channel of e-mail communication with Functional groups. Global Support Teams and other groups of members. Groups include: Talent Management, Exchange, Communications, Information Management, Alumni Relations.

Slide 7 : MyAIESEC.net Channel WIKIs WIKIs for • Functional areas, • Initiatives, • Campaigns, • Subcommittees etc. with links to other resources (forums, files etc.). Updated when necessary. FORUMS Spaces for discussions, gathering opinion & knowledge sharing around various topics NEWS Updates for all members about most important things happening within our organization.

Slide 9 : AIESEC Positioning AIESEC use to activate it’s Promotion Activities just in certain moments during the period, this moments use to be: Recruitments, Sales Peaks, Congresses or some activities of the LC that implies to attract external audiences. Out of these moments, activities of the area tend to be minimized.

Slide 10 : It causes that the positioning that we generate during this period to be lost due to lack of long-term promotion activities. This is the reason why, every recruitment, we need to run marketing campaigns in our campus as if nobody knew AIESEC, even if we have ran many promotional campaigns before, in our universities. “This is why we need to be constant with our campaigns, and to run long-term strategies”.

Slide 12 : Website Our website is our main tool to be connected with external audiences; through it we communicate all our benefits, our mission and values, the @ XP, opportunities for Alumni, Organizations, etc.

Slide 13 : Minimum content that your LC website should have:   a)   About AIESEC The AIESEC Way The AIESEC Experience Our network Brief History of your LC   b)   Youth International Internships (Details and Logistic, Type of Internships, Benefits, etc.) Global Learning Environment  (The AIESEC Global Learning Environment) Leadership Opportunities (Possibilities to develop their leadership potential, trough the participation in your LC, leading projects, being part of OC's, EB's, etc)   c)   Alumni News for Alumni Opportunities for Alumni  c) Organizations What we offer (Talent Access, employer branding opportunities) Who we work with (at local, national and international level) If the case you should mention your Projects

Slide 14 : Key External Website Presence As the Public Relations Strategy (to have presence in the most relevant events for us, totally aligned with our brand, and the possibility to interact with our target) this strategy is about having presence in those websites, that are important for us, it means with topic relevant for us, and where we can find people with similar interest to us, organizations and young people.

Slide 16 : External Newsletter The External Newsletter will contain topics related with our brand, and, at the same time, we will promote various opportunities from our LC's and MC.   On the other hand, it will be a space to engage our Partners and Alumni. External Newsletter is an effiort to show our voice and opinion regarding to some topics that are important for us, and to engage external people to join AIESEC.

Slide 17 : Web 2.0 The term "Web 2.0"  is commonly associated with web applications that facilitate interactive information sharing.In this precise moment Hundreds of people are sharing information trough social networks like Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.

Slide 18 : La galería AIESEC es nuestro Flickr and Picassa alloud us to share photos with others. You just have to take some quality pictures, respecting the brand and you're ready to upload them and share it with you friends so they can know what AIESECers work for.

Slide 19 : Twitter is one of the newest social networks that people are starting to use. You can share information with only 140 characters.This is your opportunity to impact in others thoughts with an original and strategic "tweet".

Slide 20 : Facebook probably is the first place social network with more users in the world. You create just as easy a profile and start to contact people in your country and all around the world.

Slide 21 : YouTube is the TV's web. Through YouTube channels people can share videos, TV programms, conferences, etc.

Slide 22 : Linked In is used to create a professional profile.It is used by enterprises and organizations.  You can upload your interests as organization and other groups that share the same ideas can join you and create a social net.

Slide 23 : Blogger is a social network where you can share your experiences with articles you can write.  Also you can write about any topic, share photos and videos.People can write what they think about your blog and ask for specific topics they want to know.

Slide 24 : TIPS FOR A BETTER ICOMM Make it two-way Make it face-to-face Explain your vision, values and messages Make it interesting and focused. Be honest Find out how your team prefer to be communicated with.
