How do your goals in eXchange, membership, leadership, X+L and finances look like? Step 2Check actions towards your goals!What do you need to do in order to reach your goals? Which actions do you need to take? Even if you have not been on your planning days, you can estimate a rough delivery plan with your EB team to get an overview.Step 3Check the manpower!How many people does it take to work properly on achieving your goals? How many members will your LC still have in the next semester? How many people are still missing then? This will tell you how many people you need to recruit in October!Step 4Check the requirements!Which skills are needed in order to work on your planned actions? Which skills do your current members have? Which ones are missing? E.g. if you want to conduct a lot of sales, you want to look for people who are outgoing and know how to sell our products to our external stakeholders.Step 5Check your OGX goals!How many people do you plan to send abroad during the next semester? How many EPs do you want to send to your partner LCs to do their exchange there? How many people do you need to recruit for your exchange program?Step 6Check your Leadership Pipeline!Do you have enough people interested in Leadership in your LC? Do you currently have positions where you don‘t have a suitable candidate in your LC? Use your recruitment to promote these positions, maybe somebody new is interested?Step 7Check your last recruitment!What were the results from your last recruitment? What went well, what was less successful? Make sure to use these learning points in order to be better this time! Ask people who only joined AIESEC last semester what attracted them the most, for example.Step 8Design your campaign!Which are your target groups for our eXchange and/or Leadership program on campus? Which channels do you want to use? Posters, flyers, events, cool campus actions, inviting friends, social media, newspaper articles, lecture presentations... Which pictures and slogans would fit? Be creative! Step 9Involve and educate your LC!The more people you have to advertise AIESEC, the more people you will reach. Do your members know about the messages you want to get across during recruitment? Do they know how to hold successful lecture presentations? Do you have a schedule for that?Step 10Plan your information event!The information event is a crucial point during recruitment, because you shape the first picture which the people have about AIESEC. What is your message towards the Newies? Which areas need most people and thus a focus? Which expectations do you set? What are next steps?Step 11Plan your selection and induction!You already know how many people you want. Make sure to only take suitable people who fit to your expectations and are eager to get involved! Also, make sure to plan their involvement from the very beginning. Where can they support your goals the best? We don‘t want to loose Newies because they feel bored and useless... Step 12GO OUT AND DO IT!!!AIESEC is one of the coolest things any young person can experience during the studies. Be aware of the wonderful opportunities we can offer and rock your campus!
