Introduction : Introduction Stereotypes prevent us us from understanding people who are different from us . If you use stereotypes you will not understand other social groups . Unfortunately , many stereotypes are inaccurate. You are an anthropologist making a research on stereotypes people have on different cultures . Your mission is to find out some stereotypes on three ethnic or religious groups then justify why they are false beliefs about them .
Tasks : Tasks Task1 : Copy the chart at the following slide into your notebook and classify the stereotypes you collected into the indicated categories
Task 2 :Try to discover the inaccuracies of each of these categories of stereotypes
Task 3 :Use your insight as an anthropologist to tell the world about the dangers of each category of stereotypes and its negative effect on cross-cultural understanding .
Task 4 : Present your search and findings to the class in a powerpoint presentation .
