Because many parents say that unless the child is younger and does not know much about the computer or internet it’s way to easy for them to figure out how to get around the software making its usage irrelevant.

This law was finally passed and make it much easier for parents to become educated about internet crimes against children. There are so many limitations to what sort of content is acceptable to present to a minor over the internet.
There are also other laws such as (CHIPA) The Children’s Internet Protection Act. This law was passed in December of 2000. This law indicated that it is partially part of the governments responsibility to watch over the children by keeping libraries and schools safe of inappropriate content.

Children should not be victimized because of they are unaware of the potentially harmful dangers on the internet.
Children are the future if subjected to such vile things when they are young it could effect their adult life.
