Conversation Sample_a rough beginning

(Tk 14) Short Story: Listen to the short story then be prepared to discuss the topic. A rough beginning Marcelo and Mari were two young children that lost their parents at a very young age to a car accident. They were placed in foster homes because they did not have other family members to attend them. Unfortunately they were placed with unfit foster parents that took advantage of them. Due to all the abuse they were going thru; they ran away and began the difficult task of living on the streets. Every day was a constant battle to get something to eat. It was very difficult to clean windshields and beg for money on the streets, because there was a whole lot of competition of young kids such as themselves. Things were really bad, but Marcelo bowed to do whatever it took to keep his young sister safe!!........ Things to think about:a. Did the children do the right thing by running away?b. What needs to be done to evaluate potential foster parents?c. What can the government do about these types of problems?d.
