A Retrospective : A Retrospective Bilu Balakrishnan started coaching classes in Labour Laws for few students informally;
Only one or two students in each batch;
Started class for company law;
Student numbers increased to 3 to 5;
In year 2000 the coaching classes was branded as ‘Center for Corporate Laws’;
Classes for Company Secretarial Practices was commenced;
Printed notes was issued;
A website of first in its kind was launched.
A Retrospective (Cont.) : A Retrospective (Cont.) Coaching classes gained goodwill, and students passed in their exams;
A signal of quality education was signed;
In year 2003 Bilu Balakrishnan passed Intermediate exams of ICSI;
Classes was conducted more professionally & formally;
The idea of value added services was blossomed;
In 2004 the first in its kind, a newsletter was issued under the brand ‘The Corporate Professional’
Students’ enrolled increased to 8 to 12 in each batch;
In year 2005 Bilu Balakrishnan passed CS Final Exams;
A Retrospective (Cont.) : A Retrospective (Cont.) The newsletter was made in e-mode in order to increase quality & content, and reduce cost;
Support & advise from others was needed as the concept grown;
Tried to form an association of like-minded people;
CIER conducted students seminars, which was a great hit;
The whole concept was renamed with a new brand CORPORATE INTELLIGENCE EDUCATION & RESEARCH (CIER in short);
CIER flourished as a brand named of quality & committed.
A Retrospective (Cont.) : A Retrospective (Cont.) CIER Students made remarkable success in their professional exams;
CIER Guidance Notes for Students (CGNS) was issued;
Advisory Council constituted with closely worked young personalities;
In year 2006 the newsletter was renamed as ‘CIER Newsletter’, and the number of subscribers increased day by day;
In the beginning of year 2007 CIER established as a unique brand of committed and excellence, with CIER Students passed ICSI Exams with flying colours;
A Retrospective (Cont.) : A Retrospective (Cont.) CIER SMS Alert Service (CSaS) was launched;
CIER Newsletter renamed as CIER E-Journal (CeJ) to make it more realistic;
Learned Professionals was inducted to CIER Advisory Council & a Management Council was formed;
Number of Student enrollment increased to 15 to 20 per batch;
Online students’ registration was made;
CorporateLaw4Students.Com a website for Online Corporate Laws coaching launched which was a huge market hit.
