A Biology Question - 9. Heat of our body
Description
Can body heat generate electricity ?
Is it enough to boil water or recharge a cell?
This is amazing and can we not use the same heat in winter to warm ourselves?
Presentation Transcript
Our body gives off enough heat in 30 minutes to bring half a gallon of water to a boil. : Our body gives off enough heat in 30 minutes to bring half a gallon of water to a boil.
Slide 2 : Heat produced by our body could be harnessed through the use of silicon nanowires synthesized via a technique developed by researchers with the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab) and the University of California (UC) at Berkeley.
The personal power-jackets could use heat from the human body to recharge cell-phones and other electronic devices.
Slide 3 : PARANORMAL
Slide 4 : Rajmohan Nair, known as "Current Mohan'', generates 440 watts of electricity from his body
Amazing that he hooks up different devices to himself and generates electricity to power them. He even cooks eggs!
We need to plug ourselves with him !
