Relative accuracy Ḥasan li dhātihī A ḥadīth with a connected chain (ittiṣāl alsanad) of narrators which is reported via narrators who are morally upright and are less accurate than the narrators of ṣaḥīḥ (alʿadl alladḥi khaffa ḍabṭuhū), and does not feature a narrator who has contradicted a higher authority than himself in his rendition of the ḥadīth (ʿadam alshuẓūẓ) and which is free from any malicious hidden defect (ʿadam alʿillah).
