Biology InformationThe liquid part of blood is plasma. 90% Of this is water. The proteins surrounding the liquid part of the blood are :Fibronogen, anti-bodies, enzymes, hemoglobin and hormonesHormones, anti-bodies and enzymes are not blood proteins. But prothrombin , fibronogen and Thromboplastin are Blood Proteins. When the Blood Clots a scab forms over the wound which prevents blood lost from that cut.If these two plasma proteins are absent then no bloodclotting will occur they are: 1Prothrombin, Fibronogen. When air hits a cut, there is a chemical reaction which creates a blood protein known as Thromboplastin.Thromboplastin and CA2+[Calcium 2+] ions start a series of reactions which finally turn the soluble plasma protein fibronogen into insoluble fibrin.
