Step Five

Step Five To finish off your layout, we are going to add your embellishments, a title and some journaling. Firstly, work out where you want your title. I added mine up the top of my layout, on the journaling spot. Again, I used a mix of assorted letters. It’s nice to use them up! I also added a date towards the bottom of my layout, again in assorted lettering. Next, was some leftover scalloped border(in white) which adds some variation. Add your doodled embellishment to add some punch. Journalling is the key to any layout, so let’s add some. I printed mine out on some scrap white cardstock. I used 4 different fonts when printing it to add some variation. Then, cut each word into individual pieces. From there, just piece your journaling on the side of your photo, or background if you don’t want to place it on your photo or can’t put it on your photo. I added a red chipboard heart as my embellishment and overlapped one word onto my heart. Just adds some texture to the layout. Your layout is now complete.
