Recruitment:1) Motivation! It is important that EPs will have the right expectations about the work that THEY will have to in order to get matched (hours per week, searching, regular internet access, communication with TN managers etc)2) Help from the LC! It is important that the right expectations are set as well about the support and training that the LC will provide for the EPs through out the process!3) Matchability ***Always ensure that the EP will be “matchable” … just because you are not the one that will be matching him/her you are still responsible to make sure that their background/skills and interests fit with what AIESEC can provide! The role of EP Managers in your LC! It is still a good idea to have designated EP managers in your exchange team in your LC. These people can be organizing the trainings for their EPs, holding expectation settings, tracking and following up on the matching process and keeping contact with them while they are abroad! : The role of EP Managers in your LC! Tracking and following up on the matching process Why should we be actively (at least once per week) checking and following up with EPs on available? How can you track and follow up on the EPs that are matching themselves? : Tracking and following up on the matching process Why should we be actively (at least once per week) checking and following up with EPs on available? How can you track and follow up on the EPs that are matching themselves?

Why?- It is our responsibility to provide this service to our EPs!- Our results come only when the EPs are realized, we need to make sure that we are delivering on what we are promising as an organization!- We can easily see if people are losing interest or becoming frustrated with their matching.. By following up we can offer support and avoid them “dropping out” of the exchange program!- Out matching will be faster and more efficient if we are tracking our EPs process! : Why?- It is our responsibility to provide this service to our EPs!- Our results come only when the EPs are realized, we need to make sure that we are delivering on what we are promising as an organization!- We can easily see if people are losing interest or becoming frustrated with their matching.. Some Good Case Practices and other resources to use!For Example – in the Netherlands, EP managers have a common GMAIL account with each of the EPs they are supporting. In this way, the EP Manager can easily follow up with how many TNs the EP has applied to each week and know in advance if they need some support!Check the zip file! Also…Type in “self matching” in the Search Files function on myaiesec.netHAPPY MATCHING!!  : Some Good Case Practices and other resources to use!For Example – in the Netherlands, EP managers have a common GMAIL account with each of the EPs they are supporting.
