Review - Kazantip the best place for Entertainment What is called kazantip? Kazantip is also called as simply “z”. It is an electronic dance music festival held every year on the Crimean peninsula in Ukraine. The entrance ticket is called a "viza". It takes place for 5-6 weeks in the summer and more than 150,000 "paradizers" visit each year. There is a cult of orange colored fashion and yellow suitcases associated with the festival. The starting stage of kazantip: The festival is named for the Kazantip headland near which it was held from 1995-1999. During that time the festival took place inside the turbine compartment of the unfinished Crimean Nuclear Power Plant near Shchelkino. The festival was moved to the Vesele (also referred to as Veseloye) settlement in 2000. Since 2001 the festival has been held in the Crimean town of Popovka. It advertises itself as a "virtual republic" with over 300 DJs on more than 14 dance floors which play 21 hours per day. The republic is held on a piece of land covering 60,000 square meters (15 acres). The first festival was held in 1991 when Ukraine was still part of the former Soviet Union and has a long tradition like Love parade, Burning Man, and Streetparade. The president, creator, and initiator of Kazantip (Republic Z), is Nikita Marshunok. In the beginning the festival was very low-key and was nothing more than a bunch of windsurfers partying after a hard day's wave riding. Kazantip at now: But later they included trance and techno music party to celebrate the end of the season. This gave birth to the festival as it is today. This is the Z-national holiday dedicated to spring, friendship and happiness. During these days Z-people dance, take part in a Happiness Parade, show their happiness to each other and prepare for the big summer events. The festival is not the correct word but kazantip is the correct word for festival. like this the kazantip is developed a lot like techno, non-stop music, discos, fun, love, freedom and relaxation in the sun at a descent beach of Kazantip, right on the Black Sea. Like this kazantip had developed a lot and now it is said to be the right spot for summer vacation, small paradise, a peace of heaven, etc. So folks go to kazantip this year and see how it is. The official opening day of Kazantip will take place this year on July 31st 2010. 2.) The nonofficial opening day take place a week earlier. This year's festival will end on August 21st 2010.
