Thee or Thuh
Speaking is not the same as writing
We use thee to stress or place emphasis
(as with the bold letters)
Titles are almost always pronounce with thee
A sentence is a complete thought
A chair not a sentence
A chair is in the classroom . is a sentence
Adjectives
Modify (give use more information) nouns
Adjectives almost always come before the noun they modify
the red chair – the old man – the sick girls
(notice adjectives do not change from singular to plural)
Making one (1) sentence out of two (2) sentences with a conjunction. When we have two (2) subjects, the sentence is plural. The verb goes from is to are.
