Latency : Latency Latency is the delay in time taken by user to receive audio or video transmission from other users.
Minimum Bandwidth Requirement
Audio only classes - 256 kbps @ each attendee end
Audio & Video classes - 512 kbps @ each attendee end
Q. I have a 2 Mbps connection then why do I experience audio delay/lag?
Controlling latency:
Try switching to a lower audio quality
If you have allowed audio or video controls to attendees, take back the controls from some attendees
Stop sending your video feed
Attendees should stop any application or web activity which requires bandwidth
Port 1935 : Port 1935 By default, the Adobe Flash Media Server uses port 1935 for the RTMP (Real-Time Messaging Protocol). This port was assigned to Adobe for the Flash Media Server by the IANA (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority).
For best classroom experience, this port needs to be opened.
Adobe Flash Player first attempts to connect using port 1935. If a connection is not made, the Flash Player then attempts to connect using port 80 which may cause delay or disconnection issue
