Chapter Guests Contact Lists
All guest contact forms collected at any chapter event and NCWM Awards banquets must be submitted to the National Secretary. They will be entered into the NCWM potential members database. Invitations to upcoming events should be sent by the local chapter to all guests. All guests must pay a guest workshop fee: no less than $10. The amount can be set higher by the chapter. Half will go to chapter funds and half will go to National. It should be included in the invitation: guest fee $10.00 or designated amount.
Chapter Elections and installation
All chapter officers must be elected prior to June of each year and the names submitted to National. The officers’ installation will take place at National Meeting at the Annual Convention in July. All chapter officers will begin their newly elected positions immediately following the installation at the Annual meeting.
Use of Logo and production of NCWM Paraphernalia
From this point forward NCWM is revoking the right of any chapter or person to produce items with the logo and name of NCWM on it. All members will be required to purchase items with NCWM on them from the National Headquarters. It has already been a board policy that no chapter or individual person has the authority to make items with the logo or NCWM name on it to make for profit. Only headquarters has the authority to make NCWM paraphernalia and sell them for profit.
Monetary jurisdiction
It is to be understood that any money held by any chapter is under the authority of the National Office of NCWM. All chapters operate under the Bylaws and Constitution of NCWM and it’s 501c3. We are responsible for and subject to be audited for every account held by NCWM chapters. All chapters are to understand that the National office must have documentation and an accurate account of all money collected, raised and spent.
When chapters need to make a deposit for a banquet, ball or major event they are to submit a request to National with a projected budget. Upon approval National will send a check for the facilities deposit, and any other major expense. This will allow National to support all chapters with growth and helping fulfilling the mission. After expenses of the event are met, the profits are to be submitted to National.
National will print all booklets needed by chapters. The completed type set document must be submitted to National one month prior to the event to allow time for production and printing. Cost will be handled for booklets on a case-by-case basis.
