The Election of 1960 : The Election of 1960 The presidential election of 1960 was one of the closest elections in modern history. Let’s discuss these two candidates; their pros and cons, and what would sway you as a voter.

John F. Kennedy : John F. Kennedy Pros: Young and energetic 2. Experience as a Senator from Massachusetts. 3. Heroism in the Navy during World War II 4. Known for his good looks and charm 5. Promised a “New Frontier” for the American people
