Voice personality is made of seven variables : Voice personality is made of seven variables Pitch Volume Tempo vitality or enthusiasm voice quality Articulation

PITCH : PITCH

Slide 4 : In audio terminology, pitch is determined by the frequency of vibration of sound waves. Medium to low pitched voices are generally more pleasant than high pitched voice. The greater number of vibration per second, the higher the pitch. The rate of vibration, in turn, is determined by the length and thickness of the vocal cords and by the tightening or relaxation of these cords. Among individuals of each sex there are wide variations due to difference in physical structure. However the pitch of our voices, though partly determined by nature, is not entirely beyond our control. Self control is not repression but self- expression with restraint.
