Hello Ruty :) Well, we have finished our 24 hours project which you call in your country White Nights. It was amazing. Everyone enjoyed the project and the time we spent together. I would like to tell shortly what we have done. Everything started at 15:00 PM. First, I made a short presentation about Korczak, little bit about his biography and also we've discussed the children rights. So, it was a serious part of our project. And then, 3 teachers, i.e. Me (Polina, english teacher), Nataly (Informatics teacher), and Nijole (Russian teacher), and 16 students started our work, i.e. making the kites. The major task for everyone was, to make 2 kites for each, i.e. each student had to make 2 kites, one for their parents, and another for the final fly. So, in result, during yesterday and today we made 34 kites. Everyone was really happy today when they saw the result. As you could see yesterday the kites are really colorful and bright, each student chose their own right and wrote it down on their kite. I'm sending you some pictures with kites, and how the work was going on. As i mentioned yesterday, our students' age group is from about 14 years till about 17, it is from 8 to 11th form. As regarding the big kite which we are going to make for a conference, we will meet one more time with students and make one big kite from Lithuania, Ziezmariai SecondarySchool. So, this is how our project started and is still continuing, because students are asking when we will meet again and when we will do more kites. What is more, I forgot to thank you about yesterday call, it was really nice to talk to you and share with you our wonderful and magical moment of being together, sharing the tolerance, rights, support and understanding. It was really great. So, that is for today. Your sincerely, PolinaLithuania
