Tenses : Tenses

Slide 2 : I sang a song yesterday. I sing a song. I shall sing a song.

Slide 5 : Simple past subject + past form of the verb +object. Example: I wrote a letter.

Slide 6 : Past continuous Subject + Past form of the verb “be”+ “ing” form of the main verb + object. Example: I was writing a letter. We were writing a letter.

Slide 7 : Past perfect tense Subject + had +past participle form of the main verb +object. Example: I had written a letter.

Slide 8 : Past perfect continuous tense Subject + had been + “ing” form of the main verb + object. Example: I had been writing a letter.
