In addition to text they have Photos ,Maps and Drawings.
Students can add their own placemarks.
Slide 8 :
Slide 9 : Download the latest version of Google Earth to your computer (it's free!!)
Search the Google Lit Trips website for a completed trip.
Once you find a trip you would like to try, press the download button.
Slide 10 : A .KMZ file will be downloaded to your computer. Make sure to save it
Finally, just open Google Earth, press File, then Open and Google Earth will automatically bring up the .KMZ file that you saved
