Slide 6 : PVE – Prevent Violent Extremism Partners The Government’s Prevent strategy recognises the importance of working with children and young people to build resilience to violent extremism and to protect those who are vulnerable. Their goal is to empower young people to come together, with their families and the wider community, to expose violent extremists and reject cruelty and violence in whatever form it takes. Schools can make an important contribution, being a focal point for local communities and helping to build mutual respect and understanding.
