(I drive today with the car.) • "Präteritum" tense: Ich fuhr gestern mit dem Auto. (I drove yesterday with the car.) Step 4: At last we add the place. examples: • "Präsens" tense: Ich fahre heute mit dem Auto nach Berlin. (I drive today with the car to Berlin.) • "Präteritum" tense: Ich fuhr gestern mit dem Auto nach Berlin. (I drove yesterday with the car to Berlin.)
