Draft invitation to Recife

Object: INRICH: Report of the 2nd workshop and invitation to the 3rd one. Dear Colleagues, It is not too late to wish you a very happy New Year. Thank you so much for your interest in the International Research Network on Child Health Inequalities, INRICH.As promised, you  can  find attached a report from our second annual workshop held last November 6&7 in Coventry.  Mai Thanh Tu  is to be thanked for writing this report.   We also invite you to visit our web site where the  presentations made  at the University of Warwick last November are posted as well as some photographs from the participants  :  http://www.centrelearoback.org/inrich/workshops.php.Dr. Jailson Correia invites  the INRICH group to hold it's third annual workshop in Recife, Brazil next November 3-5, 2010.  Your attendance at this meeting would certainly represent a major asset  and we would like to know as soon as possible if you intend to be present. It will give us the opportunity to build on discussions at the second Workshop in Coventry ,   to further examine the evolution of our collaborative projects, and  hopefully start new ones.  We will also continue our discussions on strategies for involvement of post-doctoral and doctoral students in the Network and prepare a framework for student exchanges.           Nick and Louise:  Should we ask this question:    I don't think so. Anyhow the question is asked further.  Do you have access to travelling funds ?   We would appreciate if you could let us know. This would permit us to dedicate more funds towards the operational activities of our International Network of Research on Inequalities in Child Health.  However, for the time being, we are searching for funds and if you are eligible to certain programs that would enable INRICH to get some fundings, let us know.  We could team up for a grant request.            We would appreciate if you could communicate as soon as possible with Lucie Lévesque at inrich@centrelearoback.ca to confirm your presence at the third workshop next November and to inform us concerning your access to travelling funds.
