But in the human experience, the natural physical reaction (like to hit someone back or yell at someone who yelled at you) can be ignored and substituted for something that does not make sense to the animal auto response…. like forgiveness, repentance or mercy.
In the human experience, logical and evolutionary leaps are inevitable, because it is not time-space locked.
Mercy does not make sense… but it is wonderfully improbable when it happens.
