It is not merit or anything that you deserve. God's grace is Joy, liberality, and pleasure. It is : The power to live what is required regardless of your circumstance.) So many have missed the mark. The show no real power of God's grace in their lives but they ask for so much in the body of Christ. If the Apostle Paul worked through his "messenger of satan" we should be able to serve in the church with a little sneeze. A. The root word is "chairo" which means to be cheerful, happy. B. Are you cheerful even when life presents itself otherwise? 1. Rejoice in the Lord always again I say rejoice!" Ph 4:4 a. Can you rejoice even when things are going wrong? 2. The root word contains the idea of someone getting kindness bestowed upon them which they do not deserve. a. Kindness without the expectation of return. b. "I didn't pay your water bill this month for you to pay my gas next month." No underlying intention. II. God's grace is God exerting His holy influence to turn souls to Christ. It strengthens your faith. A. Goodwill toward men. The friendly disposition of God. B. "Charisma" people are attracted to people with Grace. 1. We are to be becoming of a Christian. 2. How is your temperament? How do you act in tight spots? C. Grace denotes extraordinary powers that distinguish you as being enable to serve the church/body of Christ. 1. Are you able or do you always have problems you can't kick 2. Can your Pastors trust you to be able to carry out a duty? 3.
