Factorization : Factorization Quadratic equation:
2x2+9x+10
= 2x2+4x+5x+10
= 2x(x+2)+5(x+2)
= (x+2)(2x+5) ? conventional method
Vedic way
2:4
1:2 that is (x+2)
Other factor is 2x2 10
x 2 = (2x+5) – other factor
Final answer is (x+2)(2x+5) 3

Factorization : Factorization Homogeneous quadratic equation:
2x2+6y2+3z2+7xy+11yz+7zx
Putting z=0
2x2+7xy+6y2 = (x+2y)(2x+3y)
Putting y=0
2x2+7zx+3z2 = (x+3z)(2x+z)
Combining both the equations
(x+2y+3z)(2x+3y+z) is the answer 5
Division of monomials : Division of monomials 7x2+5x+3
(x-3)
Quotient =7x + (7*3+5) = (7x+26)
Reminder is (26*3+3) = 81
x-3 7x2 +5 +3
(7*3+5) 26*3+3
---------------------------------------------------
7x +26 +81
The answer is q = 7x+26 and r = 81 6
Is the reminder correct? : Is the reminder correct? If E = dividend D= divisor Q= quotient R= remainder
Then E = D*Q + R
And if Q=0
Then E=R ? This is remainder theorem
E = axn+bx(n-1)+cx(n-2) … divided by (x-p)
Then the reminder is apn+bp(n-1)+cp(n-2) … 7
