WIZIQ which is a virtual learning environment with audio, whiteboard and chat facilities Learning Outcome: Performance Standard Conditions By the end of the training session participants should be able to: Resize a photo using Paint and save it onto a computer according to the instructions provided during the training session. Assessment Method: How will you determine what your students learnt? Hands on activity to be completed immediately after training. The resized photo will be emailed to the trainer to demonstrate their ability to perform the task. Resources/Materials/Aids: Paint resize photo instruction sheet, a large sample photo, learning activity sheet (email to students before the meeting & ask them to print instruction & activity sheet). PowerPoint presentation, WIZIQ class (invite all students) 4.15pm Introduction Methods & Aids 5 mins TITLE – Resize a photo using paint WHY? – Q? Why would we want to resize a photo? A = Large photos take to long to upload, display, download. Users will become frustrated waiting for large files to display and they take up lots more processing power. Photos can enhance the online training experience. Visual learners will benefit from pictures. They add colour and interest as long as they are meaningful. WHAT? (Outcome) – By the end of the session you will be able to resize a photo using paint and save it to your computer following the instructions on the handout provided CHECK? – Learners prior knowledge.
