Hi, I must bring out an mistake on page 5. The subject of the sentence is NOT 'it'. The implied Subject is "You".

Well done, simple and very clear... I am toooooooooo young (~80) and no time to improve my English. Hi, there are always spelling mistakes in my writing, sorry. There are frequently voluntarily or involuntarily spelling mistakes in my writing, sorry, my mother tongue is Italian. No time to be perfect in English.

SINGULAR OR PLURAL? : SINGULAR OR PLURAL? Namrata Arora Stanley Solutions

MARK AT THE RESTAURANT : namrata_arora@rediffmail.com info.stanleysolutions@gmail.com MARK AT THE RESTAURANT MARK WAITER No! gets it fast Why did you brings two plate? Hey! Get me Breads: Grilled with one Slices of Cheese You told me to get grilled Breads What? Yeah sure. Right in 2 minutes Anything else?

Singular & Plural : namrata_arora@rediffmail.com info.stanleysolutions@gmail.com Singular & Plural Mark didn’t realize that the confusion crept in because he mixed up words. Singular Nouns became Plurals and the Verbs didn’t match the ‘number’ of the Noun.

Singular & Plural (Mark’s First Statement) : namrata_arora@rediffmail.com info.stanleysolutions@gmail.com Singular & Plural (Mark’s First Statement) “Hey! Get me Breads: Grilled with one Slices of Cheese.” Shouldn’t Mark be very careful with his words? ‘One’ doesn’t match with either ‘Breads’ or ‘Slices’. “Hey! Get me a grilled sandwich with a slice of Cheese.” seems a better way to put it Mark.

Singular & Plural (Mark’s Second Statement) : namrata_arora@rediffmail.com info.stanleysolutions@gmail.com Singular & Plural (Mark’s Second Statement) “No! gets it fast.” The Subject ‘It’ is Singular, implying the Verb should be ‘get’ and not ‘gets’. Yeah! It’s that easy Mark. Just say, “No! get it fast”

Singular & Plural (Mark’s Third Statement) : namrata_arora@rediffmail.com info.stanleysolutions@gmail.com Singular & Plural (Mark’s Third Statement) “Why did you brings two plate?” Guess the logic over here! It’s more than the simple rule of putting “bring” with “you”. And if it’s “two” then “plate” should be “plates”
