i-Courses Partnership Program Summer 2009 Updated August 4th,2009 1Who are we? i-Courses.org was founded in the summer of 2008 to create a truly interactive platform for learning foreign languages that is convenient and effective for both test-takers and teachers. The driving forces in our team are ambition to challenge the best in the market place, dedication to perfection, and determination to exceed the expectations of our customers. Our team members have more than 20 years of experience in the field of foreign language training, complemented by comprehensive IT skills, both of which provided us with the capabilities to develop a web-based platform that meets the needs of our customers and partners Private & Confidential 2 What do we offer? We have developed a sophisticated system that currently consists of one free Sample Test and two paid Full Tests that closely match the academic level and interface functionality of the real TOEFL® iBT exam. We also offer separate sections in case a test-taker needs to practice a particular component of the test. Our system provides automated feedback for the Reading and Listening sections and allows teachers to score and provide feedback on the Speaking and Writing sections. The automated scoring is in full compliance with the scoring rubrics for all TOEFL® iBT components as published by ETS. Currently we offer two partnership programs: Standard partnership* Premium partnership The score and feedback on the Speaking and Writing sections is provided by partner’s teachers The score and feedback on the Speaking and Writing sections is provided by i-Courses * i-Courses has the right to approve and periodically test the teachers assigned by the partner.Commissions Private & Confidential 3 † Number of test per year How it works? Step I: i-Courses provides access to a sample representative account Step II: Parties sign a partnership agreement Step III: i-Courses implements i-Testing system on your website and/or provides access to our administrative panel through: 1. An integrated frame on your website that will be used by your customers (e.g. http://www.i-courses.org/yoursite.html ) Please note that the integrated frame will be customized so that it looks similar to the other pages on your website. Also, we will provide you with an additional link that allows our partners and their teachers to access an administrative panel, where you will be able to monitor test taking activities, payments, teachers’ feedback, etc. 2. A link on your website that will direct test-takers to www.i-Courses.org, in which case each customer that has been registered through that link automatically will be assigned to your account. As in the previous option, we will provide you with a separate link that will allow you and your teachers to access an administrative panel. 3. Direct access to an administrative panel where you will be able to create manually accounts for your customers. How it works? (cont.) Private & Confidential 4 Please note that in each of the above options you will be able to monitor the use of our system by each of your students. For example, you will know when your students make payment s, take tests, when and what feedback your teachers have provided, etc. Step IV: Students register and make payments Step VI: Students take tests and teachers score the Speaking and Writing sections and provide feedback Step VII: i-Courses pays you commissions on a monthly basis
