mainly the theory of the formation of rainbow has been explained. Experiments demonstrated how a rainbow can be created in the classroom. The next topic is scattering of light . It explains the blue colour of the sky, the red colour at the sunset. At the end an elegant experiment shows how scattering takes place and the origin of the blue and red colour.At each step it examines whether the light is polarised or not using a simple polariser.
