Shantang Street, with over thousand years history

ShanTang Street is the most antiquated community in Suzhou. The street, which is with history of almost 1200 years, was built by the famous Chinese poet in Tang dynasty, Bai Juyi. It's now one of the renowned tourist spot in SuZhou. Suzhou, one of the key cities in the Yangtze River Delta, a renowned cultural, historic and tourist city, located in the southeast of Jiangsu Province , bordering Shanghai on the east, Zhejiang Province on the south, the Taihu Lake in the west and the Yangtze River in the north.
