API Guide for Developers Step 1: Sign In on WizIQ The first step to integrating WiziQ Virtual classroom in your website is to Sign In your account. Step 2: Add Teacher to WizIQ Account You now need to add teachers to your WizIQ account. Go to Org dashboard given in the Account dropdown. Step 3: Get You can now add teachers to your account from the Add Teacher button given on the page. Step 4: Get Access key and Secret Key Visit http://www.wiziq.com/api/to get your Access key and Secret key. Step 5: Get API documentation and Codes Visit http://developer.wiziq.com/and view the API Documentation and download Sample Codes. Step 6: Download Sample Codes You can download the Sample Codes in Java, PHP, .Net and RubyonRails. The codes will be downloaded in a zip format. You can then extract the codes and place them in your database. Step 7: Extract API Sample codes After extracting the files you will see two folders namely: WiZiQ.ClassAPISampleCode.Net and WiZiQ.ContentAPISampleCode.Net in WiZiQ.APISampleCode.Net extracted folder. Step 8: Open Web.config Open WiZiQ.ClassAPISampleCode.Net. Here you need to open web.config file and make changes in the file. Step 9: Insert Access key & Secret key in Web.config Add the Access Key and the Secret Key in the Web.config code file. Save the changes and close the file. Step 10: Pass Parameters You now need to open Create.cs file given in the App_code folder given in WiZiQ.ClassAPISampleCode.Net. You then need to pass the required parameters in the Create.cs file. Enter the teacher’s email address here Leave these two parameters blank Step 11: Response Output After making all the changes in the Create.cs file, save the file and run it. The response that you would get after running the file is given below. The output gives you Class Id, Recording URL and Presenter URL.
