Course Description : Course Description The SAT preparation course will help you to prepare and organize for the SAT Test. You will have a customized study plan with timely and effective feedback from the instructor. The instructor will break down each concept in a simplified manner and challenge you to reach your maximum potential and target score. The course lasts 8 weeks and is conveniently scheduled for Saturday mornings. Each session is 3 hours.

SAT Overview : SAT Overview 10 sections that will take 3 hours and 45 minutes: 3 Critical Reading, 3 Math, 3 Writing,& 1 Experimental section Experimental section doesn’t count in your score You gain 1 point for each right answer, lose a quarter (1/4) of a point for each wrong answer, and neither gain nor lose points for answers you leave blank. You don't lose points for wrong answers on the Essay and Math Grid-ins sections. Math and Sentence Completion questions are arranged in order of difficulty; they go from easiest to hardest.
SAT Score Breakdown : SAT Score Breakdown Raw Score # right – (#wrong x .25) Ex: Critical Reading – 44 right, 20 wrong, 3 omitted Raw score = 44 – (20 x .25) = 44-5 = 39 Scaled Score Range from 200-800 each section Total score range = 600-2400 Ex: Raw score = 39; Scaled = 560
