A SIMPLE MODELLING STRATEGY : A SIMPLE MODELLING STRATEGY

Slide 3 : Find two or three models, people who have the skill you want to have, preferably people you know or you can talk to, although you may watch confident public speakers on TV. Observe what they do externally, and try it on yourself. This is more effective if you second-position them and imagine what it´s like to be them as you do this activity. Have a well formed outcome in relation to a skill you would like to have. ( Eg ; to deliver a speech to a group of people, speaking confidently and clearly. Interview your models if it is possible. Find out what they believe about themselves and their strategies, and if they do something in a particular order. Try the strategy yourself to see if it works for you. Your model has certainly practiced to reach his level of skill, and you need to do the same.
